Juanita Zamudio, age 63, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas . From birth, she was confronted with many health problems and was not expected to live beyond infancy. She defied all odds and lived a full and prosperous life in spite of her health problems which followed her throughout her life. She worked for the SanAntonio Police Department for 25 years as an Administrative Assistant. She was preceded in death by, her parents, Maria Zamudio and Inez Pesina; her brother, Jose Castaneda; and her niece Nicole Zamudio. Juanita is survived by her three brothers, Fernando (Fred) Castaneda, Robert Henandez and George Zamudio and his wife, Andrea; her niece, Georgette Zamudio Michalenko, her husband, Neil and their children, Alyssa and Nico. Also her niece Ariel Zamudio and her children, Ayden, Joshia and Melody. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
