Juergen joined the US Army on the 15th of October 1965 and retired in 1st January 1989. His time in the service included a tour to Vietnam.
Juergen is survived by his wife of 51 years, Micky McEwen; son, James McEwen and wife Sherry McEwen; son, Thomas McEwen; daughter, Christina (McEwen) Holman and husband Tim Holman; son, Michael McEwen; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
The family will receive friends from 2pm to 5pm, on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
