Julia Jane Buehler, age 91, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Julia was the definition of a fiery spirit wrapped in kindness and a lot of sass. She lived 91 years with a sharp wit and a sharper opinion—if you ever asked Julia what she thought, you were getting the honest truth, whether you were ready for it or not. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, but she did it with a smile, and often, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Known for her no-nonsense attitude and her love of a good laugh, Julia made friends everywhere she went. You could always count on her for a clever comment, a funny story, or an unexpected one-liner that left you in stitches. Her love for her family was undeniable, but let's be real—she’d also be the first one to give you a hard time if you left your shoes in the wrong spot. Julia had a knack for keeping things lively, and she was always ready to bring some humor to the table—especially if it meant making fun of herself.
While we’ll all miss her quick wit and her ability to find humor in the everyday chaos of life, Julia’s legacy will live on in the memories of the countless times she made us laugh so hard we couldn’t breathe. She truly made life more entertaining, and we can only imagine she’s up there now, cracking jokes with the angels and probably giving them a few pointers on how to run the place.
Rest in peace, Julia—you were loved more than words can say, and you’ll never be forgotten.
