Julio A. Lopez

Julio worked for the City of San Antonio for 25+ years. He was very proud of his job and had many stories to tell. He valued all the friends he made over the years and was always there to help.

Julio enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching old western movies. He cherished his family and his biggest joy was to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren. The atmosphere of family brought a smile to his face and he was content having everyone around him. He will be greatly missed and much loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria A. Lopez; and son, Anthony P. Lopez.

He is survived by his sons, Julio P. Lopez, Jr. and wife, Elisa, and Alex P. Lopez and wife, Erin; daughter, Sandra Lopez Sierra and husband, John; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
