June was a past President of the Temple Beth-El Sisterhood. She was a member of the National Council of Jewish Women, Friends of Ronald McDonald House, Barshop Jewish Community Center, Friends of Hospice, and the San Antonio Symphony League. June volunteered as a tutor at Hausman Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard A. Britton, M.D.; son, David Britton; daughter, Linda Hochster and husband, Jeffrey; daughter, Amy Fintel and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Brent Jones and wife, Sarah, Jennifer Jones, Eliana Britton, Jessica Britton, Alison Fintel, Jeremy Fintel; Robert Meadows, Jr. and family; Jonathan Meadows, his son Maxwell, and Ruth Meadows.
