

Justin Alexander Morgan, age 26, passed away October 14, 2013, in Austin, Texas due to a motorcycle accident. He was born December 17, 1986, at Fort Sam Houston. He was a 2005 graduate of Canyon High School and a member of the football team. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard in 2009. While there he was a member of the football team, which won two Ivy League National championships, and was a member of the Owl Club. Justin received his Master's degree from Texas State University while working at UMC Brackenridge in Austin in the ICU. His passions included sports, his two dogs, Roscoe and Duke, drawing and painting, the beach, and scuba diving with his Dad. He was a free spirit, full of life, a great story teller and a friend to all. He was a kind hearted, gentle soul who always tried to do the right thing.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Frost Swearengen and grandmother, Vivian Whitehurst Morgan. Justin is survived by his parents, James Alan and Julia Ann Morgan; brother, Jason Alan Morgan and wife Stephanie Lynn; fiance, Jackie Lynette Tijerina; grandmother, JoAnne Swearengen; grandfather, James W. Morgan; aunts and uncles, John Swearengen, Lisa Jan Morgan, William H. Swearengen, and Jennie J. Swearengen (Aunt Boo) and their families; numerous friends and co-workers.
The family honored his wishes to be an organ donor. They will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
