Karen Elena Armstrong, age 43, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on September 8, 1979, in Austin, Texas to Antonia and Albert Doepner. She attended Austin High School where she was an honor student and played in the school band. She moved to San Antonio after High School and attended UTSA where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She continued her studies at the Baptist School of Nursing where she received her RN. She worked as a Post-Partum and Psychiatric Nurse for several years until her unfortunate passing. She was a hardworking and loving mother, trumpet player, and nurse. She will be greatly missed. Karen is survived by her parents, Antonia and Albert Doepner; sister Melody Doepner; brother Brooks Doepner; former husband William Armstrong; and their children Wendy, Paige and Tucker Armstrong.
