Katherine Marilyn Brown, age 87, of San Antonio and formerly of Port Angeles, Washington, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 28, 2016. She was born May 27, 1928 in Everett, Washington to Chester E. and Katherine Tucker Brown. Marilyn was a homemaker with family being her ultimate priority. She was a talented painter, pianist and excelled at creating fashion. Marilyn loved to travel, meeting new people and cultures along the way. She loved everyone she came in contact with. Marilyn always served her community through her church, P.T.A., scouting, the Guild and in an untold number of other organizations. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Mary Kay Brown and her sister, Margaret Platt. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 67 years, William J. Brown; daughter, Laurel Goodman and husband, Jim; son, Steven Chester Brown and wife, Noushin; grandchildren: Sabina Marie Kelly, James Matthew Goodman IV and William Parker Goodman; and great-granddaughter, Zeina Amelia Kelly.
