He was born December 11, 1946, in Florida, to Jay and Clara Russell.
He became a resident of San Antonio in December 2004, when he accepted the position of Dean of the Bill Greehey School of Business, St. Mary's University.
Keith was President of the F.E.I. San Antonio Chapter and Financial Chair of SAWS.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
Keith is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margaret Russell; children, Keith A. Russell II, Kelly Catella and husband, Manfredi, Wade Russell and wife, Cindy, Elizabeth Russell and James Russell; 3 grandchildren, Sofia and Ricardo Catella, Paul Russell; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
