Went to Fox Run as a new student in 4th grade and Kellen was my first friend. We would draw army soldiers and bases and play on the playground together everyday. I had spent the night one night and we played with his massive set of legos. I remember his mom singing him a lullaby just before we went to sleep… I never understood why he stopped going to school… Now, years later I have my own daughter who just went to her first sleep over. I reminisced on Kellen and the excitement and enjoyment of that moment with him. Had I been older and knew what was going on that time I would have told him how much his friendship meant to me. I carry his memory everywhere I go till this day and I hope his family has found solace. RIP brother.

Oh Kellen . . . it's taken me months to get up the courage to write something to you here. I've been delaying so long because the words just didn't come to me. They still don't. You were an amazing boy and becoming a man more and more every day. You were so positive and radiant, and reminded me so much of your mom. You are missed but not forgotten. Love,

My name is Mollimichelle Cabeldue and I was in class with Kellen in 5th grade at Fox Run and 7th grade at Driscoll. What I remember most about Kellen was his determination. He always had a smile on his face. I just wanted the family to know that I am thinking about them and that they are in my prayers.

Kellen, we love you and miss you tremendously. Keep smiling and moving those shoulders as you chuckle at something funny a family member said or did as you're looking down at them from heaven. You are their angel watching over them. We want you to know that your family will always be in our prayers and so will you. At such a young age you entered manhood, you were what many grown men are still struggling to be. We will miss you very much but know God has reserved you a special spot.

I want to express my deep and heartfelt sorrow for your loss. I wish I could be there for you personally, but please know I am there in spirit. I have know Kellen since he was born and he has always been a ray of sunshine. He has his mothers smile that lights up any room and make everyone around him feel wonderful.
