

He was born May 6, 1943, to Richard and Sylvia Francis in Bradford, Pennsylvania. He worked for Seismograph Service Corporation, out of Oklahoma City, looking for oil. In Los Angeles, California he found his niche. He diagnosed car repair for 38 years finally settling in Lubbock, Texas. There he worked at Pollard Ford for 20 years.
In 1988 he moved to San Antonio and worked at North Central Ford, Gillespie, North Side Ford and Jennings Anderson in Boerne. He was "the best" at what he did. Reliable, honest and trustworthy were the qualities that made him so liked by his customers, friends and peers.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 44 years, Susanne; son Kevin Francis of San Antonio, daughters Miranda Lynch and Lara Sasser of San Antonio; his mother, Sylvia and brother John Jack, both of San Antonio; his beloved grandchildren Spencer and Gabbi Sasser, Bruce, Casey, Kristel, and James; his son-in-law Patrick Lynch; and his daughter-in-law Jeneal Francis.
He had been a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish for many years.
