MSgt Kenneth E. Greer USAF Ret. age 88, of San Antonio, TX died Sunday, January 19, 2003. He was born in Herrin, IL; December 12, 1914 to Olla Greer and Media Hudgens. He was a loving family man. Kenneth served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years; while serving in the United States Air Force they lived in Germany and Turkey. He retired from Civil Service work at Randolph Air Force base after 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ova and Lester Greer. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mildred Phillips Greer; daughters, Kenna Greer and Donna Winter; son-in-law, David Winter; granddaughter, Amanda Winter; sisters, Rubye Glover of Peoria, IL and Jewel Mathey of Grapevine, TX; six nephews, seven nieces and numerous great nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Wednesday January 22, 2003 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
