He was born May 17, 1943, in Corsicana, Texas. Kenneth grew up in Corpus Christi where he graduated from W.B. Ray High School. He attended Texas A&M University. Kenneth spent his whole career working in the oil field as a petroleum engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Dick Hopkins and his brother, Carl Hopkins.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hopkins; daughters, Diane Kloster and Kim Schwarz; grandchildren, Landon Schwarz, Cole Kloster, Zachary Schwarz, Lexi Schwarz and Karsen Kloster; niece and nephew: Melissa Hopkins and Matt Hopkins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
