Mr. Kenneth David Wilder, Sr, age 81 died Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was a member and elder of Concordia Lutheran Church. Ken was born in Dayton Ohio, on February 9, 1942. He is a graduate of Memphis State University, 1965. Ken served in the US Air Force from 1965 - 1975, including service in Thailand from 1967 - 1968. Afterwards Ken continued Federal Civil Service for the US Army from 1977 until retirement in 2005. Ken was preceded in death by his father Isaac H. Wilder, Jr. and mother Bertha (Bert) Wilder. Ken is survived by wife Mrs Deborah Wilder; son David Wilder and granddaughter Hannah Wilder, daughter Joan (Jo) Wilder, son Mark Wilder and wife Jasive Wilder, step-grandson Gabriel Wilder and step-granddaughter Jasive Fisher and her husband Kiamana Fisher and step-great granddaughter Eliana Fisher.
Services to be held at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218 on Thursday February 1, 2024. Visitation at 11am, Service at 12pm, Burial at 1pm and Reception afterwards. Services officiated by Ethan Luhman, Associate Pastor, Concordia Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers will be David Wilder, Joan Wilder, Mark Wilder, Gabriel Wilder, Kaimana Fisher, and Jasive Fisher.
