Kia Michelle Robledo, 47, San Antonio Texas, passed away on May 20, 2022. She was born on December 3, 1974 to Pedro Robledo, Jr and Lona Faye Waddell Marin. Kia shared two beautiful children (Pedro, 15 and Daniella, 9) with Don Anchondo. Her biggest accomplishment in life was being a mom to her babies and spoiling them rotten. She loved watching them play sports and spending time at Fiesta Texas/Sea World. Kia graduated from Hirshi High School in Wichita Falls–Class of 1993! She worked in retail/customer service for companies: H-E-B, Toys R' Us and Metro News. She enjoyed buying and selling at flea markets and garage sales which was a true Robledo family hobby. Kia had a gift for conversation and she never met a stranger. Kia made lifelong friendships across all aspects of her life and she enjoyed how social media allowed her access to keeping up with everyone. Kia had the biggest heart of gold! Her compassion will be dearly missed from our world but it should help us carry on her zest for life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Robledo, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Pedro Robledo, Sr. and Helen Ozuna Robledo; maternal grandparents, Samuel and Consuelo Olguin Waddell. Kia is now dancing among our dearly departed extended family and we are waiting to reunite with her one day.
Kia is survived by her mother, Lona Faye Waddell Marin; her children, Pedro and Daniella Robledo; her sisters, Melissa Robledo–Phillips and spouse Alethea Phillips; Jamie Morris and spouse Tabor Morris; Vickie Robledo; her nieces, Alexis, Lex, Annikka and all extended family from San Antonio, Bracketville, Midland, Wichita Falls, Abilene, Haskell, Austin, and Killeen.
We want to thank all our family and friends for the love and support during this difficult time as we honor Kia's memory.
A visitation for Kia will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211.
