Kiyoko Shinoda Hayes, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born in Japan to Shinichi Shiraishi and Misao Shinoda in 1934.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Hayes. She is survived by her son, Ronald Hayes and his wife Amparo; daughter, Amy Sloan and her husband Phil; daughter, Angela Southers and her husband Steve; granddaughter, Madison Southers, and numerous brothers and sisters residing in Japan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
