Lara Michelle Rutchik Mrs. Woodside

Lara Michelle Rutchik Woodside, age 52, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lara was born March 28, 1967 in Chicago, IL to Kathy and Robert Rutchik. She was an accomplished manicurist in the Chicago area for eighteen years and her many clients spoke fondly of her infectious smile and tender touch. She married Richard Woodside in San Antonio on Valentine's Day, 2004, and gave birth to their son, Thomas, that same year. Although her family lived in many places, Lara always said that Texas was her favorite.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert; maternal grandparents, Bronislaus and Mary Garncarz; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Harriet Rutchik (Rook).

Lara is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Thomas; mother, Kathy, stepfather Fred Andelbrat; brothers, Michael Rutchik (Rochelle) and John Rutchik; sister, Lisa Piazzi (Tony); stepsister, Donna McGuire (Joe); and nieces and nephews, Natalie Piazzi, Noelle Piazzi, Nyah Rutchik, Cameron Rutchik, and Piper Rutchik. Lara was known by family, friends and strangers she befriended as a special woman with a warm heart and beautiful soul. We all miss her dearly.
