He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen C Ballard; father, Edward Penuel Ballard and brothers, David, Edward, Howard, and Michael.
Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy S Ballard; his children, Victor E Ballard and wife, Catalina of San Jose, CA and Larry H. Ballard of Chicago, IL. He was stepfather to Jerry Coates and wife, Laura of Crawford, CO and Barbara Hill of Latta, SC. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Stephanie and Matthew Ballard of San Jose, CA; sister, Peggy Diaz and husband, Gilbert of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Ronald Ballard and wife, Connie of Chicago, IL and Alan Ballard of Providence, RI as well as numerous other relatives.
