Laura Frances Zoch was born April 3, 1961 in Austin, Texas to Frank Peter Zoch III and Laura Ann Olsen Zoch; she passed away with her mother and brother at her side on July 27, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Peter Zoch III. Frances is survived by her mother, Laura Ann Olsen, brother, Frank Peter Zoch IV, grandmother, Laura Mathis Olsen, nephews, Tristan Alexander Zoch, and Peter Hudson Zoch, aunt, Kathryn Frances Olsen Hooper, her husband, Dr. Ray Gilbert Hooper and their three daughters: Annie Hooper Lovell, Ray Hooper Bandas and Farley Hooper Erikson, their husbands and children.She is survived by her faithful dog companion Maypole. And also three half siblings and one step sibling.
Frances was a great lover of the natural world and she was a talented master gardener and designer. Frances was an enthusiastic supporter of the San Antonio Zoo, San Antonio Botanical Gardens, the McNay and Witte Museums.
Her family suggests memorials to the San Antonio Zoo or the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.
