Laurence "Larry" Fitzsimon

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; sons Danny and Les; and daughters Carol Spradling, Nancy Lockhart and Ruth Fitzsimon of San Antonio as well as Jan and husband Bruce Barr of Cedar Creek, Texas, and Martha FitzSimon and husband, Bernie Trombley of Fairfax, Virginia. He also is survived by his sister, Marcella Prescott of Louisville, Kentucky, and five grandchildren: Lisa Spradling, Megan, Willem and Liam Lockhart of San Antonio; and Stephanie Fitzsimon of Monticello, Kentucky.

Larry was a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was also a member of both St. Anthony de Padua and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Churches.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 700 Dewhurst. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
