Leandra B. Garcia born on February 27, 1927 in Villa Del Carmen, Nuevo Leon, Mexico was called to be with the Lord on May 27, 2014 at the age of 87. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Mom laughed heartily, forgave readily, and loved unconditionally. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Juan Garcia; brother-in-law, Atanacio Garcia. She is survived by her children; Huemac Garcia (Suzanne), Tlaloc Garcia (Denise), Hugo Garcia (Barbara), Hualcoy Garcia (Emma), Herasto Garcia (Garry Tackett), and Xochitl Davis (Michael); 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; siblings, Juanita Garcia de Villarreal and Antonia Trevino Garcia Zuniga; sister-in-law, Romana De La Cruz and Gloria Garcia. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower St., San Antonio, TX 78201 or a charity of your choice. Services will conclude at church.
