Farewell Lee Breidenbach for the Lord will comfort the sick and suffering. As a child in Christ may he recive you with open warm arms for we will all have our time with him some day. Lee is in a place we could only dream to be. For the family members he left behind, may the Lord comfort you in your time of mourning.

Linda, Elke e-mailed me about Lee's passing and I just wanted to let you know that your family will be in our prayers. I know that we did not know each other very well when we lived in San Antonio, but I do remember having mom-to-mom talks with you a couple of times. The best part of the San Antonio group was how much we all helped each other out. We always knew we had someone to count on when things got tough. I am sorry that Josh and Lee did not get to know each other very well, but there was quite an age difference between them. God gave us these precious children and we were blessed every day that we have had with them. You were a special mother and Lee was very lucky to be with you. I will keep you in my prayers. Lee was a great friend and a big part of my life and who I am today. I'm thankful that I had the chance to know him and for all of the fun we had together. I'll always remember his sense of humor and how it showed the most when life was difficult. I'll miss him.

I was not very fortunate to have known Lee that well, his father Mr. Breidenbach was employed with the Division of Workers Compensation as one of our hearing officers. I do recall however, Lee's visits to the office from time to time. The smile on his face was priceless. Always had an uplifting sprit no matter what the circumstance. It seemed as just being with his dad made his entire day. Even though I did not know Lee in a personal way he has left an example to all in appreciating what we have for the short time we are on this earth. With my greatest gratitude and sympathy to All his family, friends and loved ones I am so sorry for your lost.

What an honor it was to know this incredible young man for these past 3 years. He taught me so much about life, love, dignity, perserverence, and integrity. I will never forget Lee...or you, Linda and Mark. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark and Lynda, We heard of your son's death through the First Baptist Church in Ponca City. We wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are so sorry for the grief you are feeling now and for the loss of your son, Lee, from this earth and from your lives. May you rejoice with the hope of knowing that you will see Lee again because of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and may you soon be blessed with precious memories. May you know that the Lord is your Shepherd and that you shall not lack or want any good thing. Even though you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, may you fear no evil. May you know His peace, His strength, His comfort, and especially His love. God does love you and He cares for you right now deeply . . . and does understand what you are going through.

He?s in a better place right now than he?s ever been before and

Steve and I were saddened to hear of Lee's death but glad to hear that he passed away peacefully at home. He was a courageous young man and is no doubt in a better place now. Lee Breidenbach's life and the courage with which he faced its challenges were an inspiration to all who knew him. He remained engaged in the world, fighting against great odds when most would have surrendered to despair. He did not surrender and neither did his family. As we remember Lee, we will remember the words of St. Paul, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Yes, you did, Lee. May the light eternal shine upon you.
