Leo Romanelli

Leo Romanelli, 92, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on October 3rd, 2024. Leo was born in Introdacqua, Italy to Maria Antonia Ventresca and Croce Romanelli on May 17th, 1932. He was married to Theresa DiCienzo on April 28, 1957 at St. John's church in Quincy, Massachusetts. He worked for Antonelli Metal in Massachusetts as a welder which he learned as a trade growing up in Italy. He also worked for McKenzie Air Industries on compressors.

He was involved with the Knights of Columbus and was a 4th degree Knight. He volunteered with Divine Providence Church and the San Antonio Food Bank.

He is preceded in death by his wife Theresa, his sister Phyllis and his son Antonio. Leo is survived by his daughters Annette and Angela, granddaughter Christina and her spouse Adam, granddaughter Morgan and her husband James and their daughter, Leo's great granddaughter Emily.

Visitation and Rosary will be at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas, 78218 from 6pm-8pm on Monday, October 14th. Funeral mass will begin at 12pm on Tuesday, October 15th at Divine Providence Church, 5667 Old Pearsall Rd.; San Antonio, TX 78242. Burial will follow at Sunset Funeral Memorial Park,1701 Austin Hwy., San Antonio, TX 78218.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the San Antonio Food Bank.
