Leo retired from Wells Fargo Financial after 30 years of service. During that time, he received several awards and was recognized for his many achievements and contributions to the company. He was always known as a man of integrity and for his exemplary work ethics. Leo managed branches in Brownsville, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio.
Leo was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, and he was honored to be a fourth-degree knight.
Leo was a devout Catholic, living his faith daily. He set an example to all who knew him. Nothing made him happier than to have a house full of family and friends. He played any game his grandchildren asked him to play, and as they knew very well, “Papa can never say 'no' to us.” He loved to travel, and he and Janie did quite a bit of it. He especially loved hiking in the Grand Teton Mountains in Wyoming, experiencing Disney World, and the Disney cruise with his grandchildren brought so much joy to him. His life was truly blessed, and he was a blessing to everyone in his life who are tasked with carrying on his legacy.
