Msgt. Leroy Robert Bush, USAF (ret.) passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 87 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 12, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Julia Sata and Robert A. Bush.
Leroy retired from the United States Air Force after a 24-year career. Although the majority of his military career, he was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, he also spent time in Turkey and Thailand. Leroy was also a proud 47-year member of American Legion, China Post 1.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Leroy is survived by his children, Jeffery Bush, Keith Bush and wife Christine, Eric Bush Guercio and Tamara Guercio. He was a grandfather to Jessica, Hannah and Joshua, and a great-grandfather to Ignatius and Eadie Mae.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 1:15 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
