Leslie Dawn Creel

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Leslie Dawn Giles Creel, 43, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, in San Antonio at home surrounded by family. She was born to Roy Giles and Joyce Fisher on July 26, 1970 in San Antonio, Texas. She enjoyed planting, flowering, shopping for clothes and shoes, and listening to love songs. Leslie was married for 21 years to the love of her life and her best friend, David. They shared two cats named Romeo and Chloe. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and Santa Fe, New Mexico was her favorite place. Leslie and her husband renewed their vows on November 10, 2012. Prior to owning and operating L&D Telecom, she worked at Barrett Brothers Oil and Gas. She was preceded in death by her Memaw, Winnie Anderson. Leslie is survived by her husband, David Creel and his son Chase Creel (Jade); mother, Joyce Fisher (Jim), father Roy Giles (RuthAnn), brother David Giles (Dondra) and their children, Baylee and Brandon; brother, Clint Lloyd and his son Garet, sister, Keri Patterson (Mike) and their children, Case and Conner and sister and caregiver, Lori Nesloney (Darenger Wayne).
