Leslie Owen Woods

Dr. Leslie O. Woods went to be with the Lord February 28, 2002, at the age of 36. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary, she was his true soulmate and loving companion. He was her little man and she was his dolly. Dr. Woods found good and kindness in every person he met he was a gentle giant with a heart of gold, always having time for his family. He proceeded in death by his loving grandfather Frank Woods. He leaves behind a very loving family who adored and loved him dearly. We will miss him terribly. Survivors are father-in -law Francisco Vasquez, mother -in-law Janie Vasquez, brother -in-law, Frank Vasquez, sister -in-law Diane Pastrano and Jovani Pastrano; two very special nephews Nicholas Stone Vasquez and Jovani Pastrano baby Rue. Leslie the only son of Leslie F. Woods and Golda Woods. Sister Benji Warmoth and brother-in-law Larry Warmoth. Two nieces Hannah and Corie Warmoth. Grandmother, Marjorie Woods. Dr. Woods was a Therapeutic Optometrist and a Glaucoma Specialist who had been in practice for over 10 years. He attended Northeastern State University in Talequah, Oklahoma. Dr. Woods was a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the Bexar County Optometric Association. Dr. Woods was highly regarded by his colleagues not only for the high quality of his patient's care, but for his intelligence, broad interests, kindness and concern for all. Les left the world a better place and will be greatly missed by family, friends and fellow Optometrists.
