Leticia C. Wong, age 68, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 in West Covina, CA. She was born on May 19, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA, to parents, Jose Cervantes and Nancy Partida. She was among the first women to graduate from St Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. She was an educator for nearly 40 years. She retired from John Glenn Elementary in 2017. She was preceded in death by her father. Leticia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ramiro Wong; son, Mario Wong; daughter, Sonia Wong-Mendoza; daughter, Natalie Wong; daughter-in-law, Francine Wong; son-in-law Ralph Mendoza; Granddaughters, Alina Wong, Madalynn Mendoza, Alyssa Wong, Samantha Mendoza, Amerie Mendoza, Natalie Mendoza and Bobbi Mendoza; Grandson, Elias Wong. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, with Rosary to follow.
A private interment will take place in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
