Librado Vera, passed away at the age of 84, on April 14, 2013, surrounded by his beloved family at his bedside. He was welcomed into God’s kingdom by his parents, Prospero and Tomasa Vera, his son, Oscar Vera, siblings; Arturo Vera, Amador Vera, Canuto Molina, Eva Vera Garza, and Soledad Saldivar. He was born in Los Saenz, Texas on April 1 , 1929. He worked in construction for 43 years as a heavy equipment operator. Librado is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Julia Treviño Vera, his daughters; Melida(Bobby) Muñoz, Graciela(Tony) Cortez, Linda Vera, his sons; Luis Enrique Vera, Agapito Vera, his siblings; Esther(Max) Garza, Prospero(Carol) Vera Jr., 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart, Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. mass of resurrection at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Jose Burial Park.
