Lidia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around family, tradition, and love. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and word searches. One of her most cherished traditions was making homemade tamales every Christmas, a labor of love that brought her family together year after year and created memories that will be treasured forever.
Lidia is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Pete T. Aguirre; her son, Peter Aguirre; her sister, Lucia Peña; and her brothers, Juan Joe, Leonard, Pedro, Juan, and Silvestre.
Lidia's memory will forever live in the hearts of her sons, Alex Aguirre and Jimmy Aguirre (Pat); her daughters, Diana A. Navarro and Ida Aguirre (Danny); her two sisters, Seferina (Sef) Garza and Aurora De Leon (Nina) along with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Lidia Garza Aguirre will be remembered for her warm heart, her devotion to family, and the traditions she lovingly passed down. Her legacy of love, faith, and togetherness will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
