With deepest sympathy to my dear friend Linda Lawson. I offer my deepest sympathy to her and her family. I only just learned of her passing and wish I could have paid my respects. Linda was a dear friend for many years and will be greatly missed.

I was so sad to just learn of Linda's death. We were childhood friends even before I started elementary school. Linda was a couple of years older than me and when she started school, she would come home in the afternoon and teach me what she had learned that day. It made me smile to find out that she later became a teacher. I have many fond memories of Linda when we were so young. I know she is missed by all. My sincere condolences to her family.

I had run into someone over the weekend that told me of Linda's passing. I wish I would've known of her death back in April 2010. I worked with Linda at St. George Episcopal School and I will never forget how wonderful Linda was to me. When I taught Kindergarten, she mentored me and always made sure I was 'in the loop". When my daughter was born, she came that afternoon after school to the hospital to make sure we were okay. After my divorce, when she'd stop by the school from time to time, she'd always stop by to say hello. I am so happy I thanked Linda back then for always helping me. She was an amazing teacher and just beautiful both inside and out. I only wish I could have paid my proper respects.If I would have known, I would have. I first met Linda at SMU and immediately took to her Texas accent and she, to my TN accent; somehow we both ended up in San Antonio where I saw her from time to time on the tennis courts. Always with that radiating smile and a hug. She will truly be missed; my prayers are with you all as you deal with her loss.

Linda was a very nice person that showed everyone that she knew that she was there for them, and always had a smile on her face. We will miss you linda.

I met Linda in Port Aransas, TX. She would play poker with my fiance and we would swim over at her house. She even talked me into playing poker with them. She was a very very sweet person, I am so sorry for her loss.

My daughter Elisabeth had Linda as a Kindergarten teacher back in 2002-3. Our whole family loved Linda! We were friends in book club for two years and I will miss her greatly! She was such a wonderful, friendly, outgoing, vivacious person and she spoke of Amanda so lovingly. Take care of each other and God bless you.

Linda was great and I know that my daughter Alexandra loved hanging out with her.

Linda will be remembered and missed. A bright, funny, vivacious personality who impressed all she met. The Kappas, the SAE's where she was a Little Sister, and SMU, will never be the same.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's death. When I moved to Dallas from Virginia back in 1981, I met Linda while working at Summit Energy. She was such a beautiful girl. She befriended me immediately and introduced me to some girls who have become my dearest friends. I had completly lost touch with her through the years. I so much appreciated her friendship. I was so sad to hear about the death of Linda - she was a huge part of my daughters life in school. She was a great teacher and we loved her. I pray for all of her family but mostly Amanda - God will be with you during this time!!! The one thing I will always remember that was so fun for my daughter was Ooh La La, Cha Cha Cha - you had to be in her class to understand - we love you Linda!!!!!
