

Linda Mae Classen Graham died July 25, 2011 a day before her 86th birthday. Linda was a San Antonio native, a descendent of German ranchers, the daughter of Walter W. and Linda C. Classen. She was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School and earned her BS in Education from Texas A&I Kingsville.
She met her husband in Austin, Texas where she was teaching school. They ended up settling in Castle Hills where they have been residents for 52 years. Linda was instrumental in starting the recycling program in Castle Hills and was a member of the Garden Club and past president of the Women's Club there. She was a member of the Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church, the San Antonio Conservation Society and ran the coffee booth at NIOSA for over 20 years. Linda was also known for her skills at the bridge table.
She was preceded in death by her sister Willis Duckworth and grandson Matthew Joseph Selwyn. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Norvell Graham Jr.; her 2 daughters Ann Marie Graham and Lynn Lucette Graham; her sister Waldine Ramsay; her 2 grandchildren Diana Lynn Selwyn and Christopher Robert Selwyn; her niece Carolyn Lehman and nephew Howard Duckworth.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Porter Loring North.
