Linda K. Young

Linda K. Young, age 70, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born to the late Truman and Jean Ferguson in Austin, TX. She dedicated her life to taking care of the elderly and worked for Paragaon Healthcare group at the Floresville Residence & Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed her family, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and having a glass of wine. She was a dedicated wife, mother and MeeMaw. One of her greatest strengths as a woman was her leadership of others in a male dominated work force.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Young; and her parents. Linda is survived by her daughter, Wyndee Wendland and husband, Stacy; son, Bradley Young and wife, Emily; grandchildren, Christopher, Colin, Jordan, Michaela, Chloe, R.J., Cole, Ashlynn, and Madalynn; brother Jim Ferguson and wife, Janeen; brother, Martin Ferguson and wife, Jeannette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring North.
