

Born in San Diego, CA, on March 20, 1978, to Lloyd James De Vinney Jr. and Lualhati Flores De Vinney, Lloyd was a beloved son and a cherished member of his community.
He graduated from Samuel F.B. Morse High School in 1996, where he formed many lifelong friendships. He was also a faithful member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Church of Christ (San Antonio Locale). He was an avid Los Angeles Chargers fan, never wavering in support of his team. Lloyd also enjoyed tinkering with electronics and YouTubing how-to videos to fix his cars. He loved to tell stories and laugh with his whole belly.
On July 26, 2011, Lloyd married the love of his life, Tara Oliva, of San Diego. Their union was blessed with three wonderful sons, Krayde Oliva, Lloyd Vincent De Vinney, Jr., and Tyrus Lyle De Vinney. He was a devoted husband and a proud, loving father. He always provided wise counsel to his nieces and nephews no matter the time.
He is survived by his wife, Tara; his sons, Krayde, Lloyd Jr., and Tyrus; his mother, Lualhati; his brothers, Jimmy and Bryan; his sisters, Maggie and Marie; his cousins, Chris, Rachel, and Webster. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd James De Vinney, Jr. Lloyd also leaves behind a loving extended family of friends and relatives who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
A final visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary West from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. After the funeral service a committal service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.
