Loren E. Love

Loren E. Love is one who has been faithful and hopeful in the Lord. The Lord has renewed his strength. He now soars on wings like eagles. He runs and does not grow weary. He walks and is not faint. --from Isaiah 40:31

Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruth Love; sisters Irene Jackson and Lois Coder; and son-in-law Bill Moody. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Wilma Presley Love; sister, Phyllis Brown; daughters, Judy Moody, Cathy Peace and husband Ron, and Margaret Tovar and husband Lupe; grandchildren, John Moody, Nancy Burns, John Charles Peace and wife Calah and Caron Peace; and great grandchildren, James Johnson, Robin Burns and Presley Burns who all remember their PaPa with great affection.

Loren was a graduate of Kirksville High School and Baylor University. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force for 26 years. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in San Antonio.

Visitation is Saturday, February 5, 2011, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Chapel, and a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
