Loretta Ann Gaitan

Loretta Ann Gaitan, a dedicated healthcare professional from San Antonio, passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 59. This document serves as an obituary and memorial notice honoring her life, career and family connections.

Born on September 22, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas. Loretta was the daughter of Archie and Norma Gaitan. She completed her education at West Campus High School. Professionally, Loretta devoted many years to working as an Emergency Room Technician before transitioning to a phlebotomist role at LabCorp, where she worked for the last five years of her career.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Norma Gaitan.

Loretta is survived by her brothers Archie (married to Nora), John (married to Sharon), her sisters Nancy (married to Rodger), Letty (married to Danny). Her extended family includes nieces and nephews Jessica, Justine, Nathan (and his son Scott), Skylar, Joshua (and his children Julian and Sophia), Jordan, Tiffany and Jeremiah.

A Celebration of Life event is scheduled to take place on August 9th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 838 Fillmore Dr, San Antonio, TX 78245. This gathering will offer an opportunity for friends and family to honor Loretta’s memory.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Heart 2 Heart Hospice and the staff from Windemere of Westover Hills, including Jamal, Candace, and Darlene, PA, for their care and support during Loretta’s final days.
