Louis R. "Buddy" Pelayo

Louis R. “Buddy” Pelayo, 69, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012. He was born in San Antonio on November 5, 1942, graduated from Fox Tech High School and was an avid fan of the Texas A & M Aggies. After his retirement from civil service Buddy began his career as a funeral assistant with Dignity Memorial. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and he was also a police volunteer and member of the Public Safety Team of the San Antonio Police Department. He is survived by his wife Loyls Pelayo; son, Allen J. Pelayo; grandson, Parker A. Pelayo of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Norma Villa, Rose Marie Wilburn and husband Ruben B. of Spring, TX; father and mother-in-law, Epifaneo Leos and Maria Guadalupe Galvan of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; sisters-in-law, Eloisa Garcia and husband Roberto of Dallas, TX, Betty Castorena and husband Guillermo Castorena; brothers-in-law, Jaime Leos and wife Josefina Leos of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Ruben Leos and wife Francis Leos of San Luis Potosi, Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 beginning at 5:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. The procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for the funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4201 De Zavala Rd.
