She was a woman of immense humor and wisdom. She was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, love and support for her family and community. She modeled and taught about character, virtues of commitment to work. Our Mother was a devout disciple of Christ. Raised Catholic, our memories of her prayers were to guide us, protect us, keep us safe, bring us peace, happiness, joy, love, laughter, good fortune, prosperity, good health, new opportunities and strength for all. She provided us with roadmaps through her immense faith with endless prayers, wisdom, gentle hugs, lots of laughter and her beautiful smile. She was an example of a humble yet passionate faith-based wife, mother and grandmother glorifying God as a humble servant. Louisa was known for many things, she loved her gardening and loved it even more when her flowers blossomed as they always did. She knew her way around the kitchen, cooking traditional mexican meals and the best tortillas in town. Her undiscovered talent was that of a song writer. She would be happy to entertain her devoted fans (her children) with her personal written lyrics. As a talented tailor, our Mother's loving hands adorned her daughters with the most beautiful dresses. She was an advocate for education, politics and religion. She was dedicated to her work and to her employers. As a young woman she worked at Finesilver, Lasso, Levi Strauss and Miller Curtains.
