Louise Jennings entered into the loving arms of our Lord on October 21, 2025 at the tender age of 82. She was born in Crested Butte, Colorado on September 23, 1943 to parents, Mercy Gomez and Jim Lucero.
Born with a caring heart and a determined spirit, Louise dedicated her life to her family and to making a loving home for her children. A hardworking single mother, she faced every challenge with strength and grace, always putting her family first.
Louise enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — a good dance to classic country or original Tejano music, a visit to the casino for some fun, and time spent in her garden watching the hummingbirds she so lovingly attracted. Her green thumb and gentle care brought beauty to every space she touched.
A devoted fan of the Denver Broncos, Louise cheered on her team with enthusiasm, but her greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren and great Grandchildren. She loved them deeply and spoiled them every chance she got, filling their lives with warmth, life lessons, laughter and colorful words.
Louise will be remembered for her strength, her vibrant spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those blessed to know her. She made an imprint on our hearts that will exceed the quantity of time she had here in earth.
Louise will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Mercy and Jim Lucero; sons, James Fred Jones; grandchildren, Heather and Timothy; sisters Vera MaehAchuleta, Barbara Woodward; Aunts Regina Gomez and Mary Gomez; uncle, Joe Gomez; and beloved fur-companion, Bear.
Her memory will forever live in her sons, Vincent Jones (Rose) and Grant Jones; grandchildren, Crystal (Joey), Joshua, Jaison, Joseph, Joslyn, Danielle,Bonnie, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Hollye, Aubrye, Ray, Stormye, Timothy, Serenitye, Elenor, lll M, Zuri; siblings, Lloyd (Angie)Lucero, Jimmy (Marlene)Timothy Duran, David(Amiee)Duran, Juan (Diane)Duran, Anthony(Karla) Duran, Stephanie (Jim) Morris, special friends, Linda and Rocky and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
