Lucille Fleming

Our beloved mother, Lucille Segel Fleming, went to be with the Lord on September 28th, 2013. Mom was born to proud parents, Joe and Martha Segel, at the home of her grandparents Theresa and JJ Ott, String Prairie, Texas. She married the love of her life Francis L Fleming, October 27, 1942. During WWII, mom acquired a job for the Federal Post Office Censorship Dept. where she received an accommodation for her expertise and job knowledge. She was a devout Catholic, a member of the Catholic Daughters, and St. Francis Altar Society. She enjoyed ranching, cared about her community, was a volunteer with the Fire Department and Election Officer Volunteer. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband; son, Perry Tim Fleming; and son-in-law, Jim Foster. She is survived by her children, Patrick Fleming and wife, Sandra, Jean Foster, Michael D. Fleming and wife, Julie, and Terry Saathoff and husband, Curtis; grandchildren, Michelle Bradshaw, Wade Foster, Timothy Fleming, Kevin Fleming, Dr. Kylie Saathoff, Heather Ford, Jennifer Towne, Michael T. Fleming; great-grandchildren, Ashton Foster, Parker Bradshaw, Ella Fleming, Shane Towne, Teya Fleming, Katelyn Towne, Owen Fleming; brother, Jesse "Sonny" Segel; sister, Nell Hilliard; brothers-in-law, Eddie Fleming and Ted Fleming; and numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
