Luis H Gonzales

Luis H. Gonzales went to be with the Lord June 12, 2017. Mr. Gonzales was born August 22, 1942 to Mr. Francisco Gonzales and Mrs. Celia Hernandez Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Luis Gonzales Jr. as well as his brother Frank Gonzales. He worked as a carpenter for the Local Carpenter Union for 25 years. He filled his life with passionate hobbies such as fishing, hunting, being a self-taught mechanic and raising a loving family with his wife Guadalupe B. Gonzales of 44 years. He leaves behind a caring brother Eddie Gonzales, two loving daughters Irene G. Aguilar, husband Daniel and Yvonne Johnson, husband Michael, a devoted son Michael Salas and his wife Verdell. Luis Gonzales also leaves behind nine faithful grandchildren Jared, Christopher, Elizabeth, Kassandra, Brett, Emily, Dustin, Preston, Troy and ten affectionate great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 5:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home located on 226 Cupples Rd., A Mass of resurrection will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. John Berchman’s Catholic Church located on 1147 Cupples Rd. with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
