Lupita, whom I've known since we were in first grade. She was always cheerful, funny, happy and I considered her a friend. I do think of her often and always remember she was such a happy person.

I grew up with Lupita. I attend Fred Booth Elementary with her and her sister Gracie. I have always liked and admired Lupita. She is missed and I think of her often.

Lupita was a joy to have known. She was a blessing to take care of as a patient. We first met at Wilford Hall. She was always positive and encouraged everyone she would talk too. I am so sorry for Lupita's loss. Lupita fought hard in her battle against cancer.I'll always remember Lupita as a bubbly person, thankful for everyday. I will also remember how much faith she had, and her love for the Lord. My condolences to her family.

To the Brown and Cortez families, you have my deep, sincere and heartfelt condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill and Lu, as Bill so lovingly call her, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey in the 70s before they were married. There our husbands were great friends. Later ran into them here. Joy! 
Lupita was a very Special, Loving and Kind Spirit, with a Beauty Smile and a Heart of Gold. She was so full of Life and had so much LOVE in HER HEART for HER FAMILY and OTHERS. My heart breaks for your loss. I just cannot find the words to express my sadness. 
We know Lupita is with her parents and her Heavenly Father. She has her ~Wings and Halo ~ now and is a Guardian Angel for her family and the people she held dear to heart. 
Lu we didnt have our girls night out at the movies or have dinner, but hold on to my ticketwe will have our play date. I just wish we had spent more time togetheryou will forever be in my heart!
