She was very proud of the time she spent with the W.A.V.E.S. during World War II. She was one of the very first employees of Hewlett-Packard in the early 50's before moving to Texas.
Lucy lived a very colorful life filled with many friends. She was always the life of the party. Now she has gone to party with her "beloved Buddy" whom she has missed for the past twenty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. "Buddy" Christians.
She is survived by her children, J. R. Singley and Tamra, Diane Johnson and Harry, Chris B. Christians and Lee Ann, and Donna Christians Thompson; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Hubley and Lawrence Hubley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Ninfa Lopez for her many years of loyalty and friendship. The family also wishes to thank the caring staff at Homewood Residence.
