

Carol Lynn Anderson, age 63, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born March 2, 1960, to Marcia and John W. Davidson. Lynn grew up in San Antonio and graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy. Her love for theater led her to Midwestern State University, where she studied and honed her craft.
Lynn and her husband of 37 years, James, were the proud owners of Superbody Works, a fitness center for women, in Victoria, Texas, for over 30 years. Lynn was passionate about empowering women to achieve their fitness goals and feel confident in their own skin. She took great pride in providing a welcoming and supportive environment at Superbody Works. Over the years, Lynn developed a loyal group of members who appreciated her personalized approach and overall enthusiasm. She would often go above and beyond to ensure that each woman who walked through the doors of her gym felt valued and encouraged.
Lynn spent her retirement as a dedicated member and advocate of the San Antonio Alcoholics Anonymous program, providing unwavering support to the community and continuously working to improve the lives of others. She believed that everyone deserved a chance at recovery and was always there to offer a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need. Lynn's legacy of empowering and supporting women and serving others will continue to touch the lives of those who knew her.
Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia Davidson. Lynn is survived by her husband, James Anderson; daughter, Taylor Anderson, and husband Tate Hayes; father, John W. Davidson; brothers, Mark Davidson and wife, Laura, along with their children and grandchildren, and Alan Davidson; stepson, James Anderson, and wife, Joely along with their children; as well as numerous extended family members and a lifetime of friends.
