

Madeline was born at Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She lived most of her early life in San Antonio until her marriage to her husband of 67 years, John Raymond, of San Gabriel, California. The two wed at the Little Flower Basilica in San Antonio on August 23, 1958, then moved to Los Angeles California. They soon moved to San Bernardino, then to Rialto, California, where they raised their 3 children. Madeline and John retired to Oceanside, California in 1997, then moved to San Antonio, Texas in January 2024.
Madeline attended Little Flower School from 1st-8th grade. She attended high school in Bridgeton, Missouri, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1951. After graduation, Madeline returned to San Antonio and worked in the admitting office at Santa Rosa Hospital until her marriage to John. She remained a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend throughout her life.
Madeline’s life was one of dedication to her family and service to her Catholic church community. Madeline and John met while singing in the choir at Little Flower church. While a member of Our Lady of the Rosary parish in San Bernardino, Madeline was a member of the Altar Society. During her time as a parishioner at St. Thomas More parish in Rialto, Madeline served the poor by volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Josephine Noll, her brothers, Harold, Lawrence, Frank, James, and Gene, and her sisters, Dorothy and Claudia, all originally from San Antonio.
Survivors include her husband, John Raymond; her son James Raymond of Santa Fe, New Mexico; daughter Mary (Raymond) Mitchell of Temecula, California; and daughter Joan (Raymond) Martinez of San Antonio. Other survivors include her daughter-in-law, Stacia Raymond, and sons-in-law, Christopher Mitchell and Pete Martinez, along with granddaughters Grace, Anna, Lucia, and Olivia, and great-granddaughter, Angelica, as well as countless nephews and nieces.
A recitation of the Rosary will take place at 10:00am on Monday, November 10, 2025, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. José Luis Sánchez del Rio Catholic Church, 21140 Gathering Oak, San Antonio, TX, 78260. A procession to Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78266 will take place following the Mass.
