Magdalena L. Mendoza

Magdalena L. Mendoza, 74, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026, in San Antonio. She was born on April 24, 1951, in Alamo, Texas, to Juvencio and Teodora Lopez, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Lopez and Juvencio Lopez, Jr.

Maggie devoted her life to her family. She spent many years working as a secretary for law firms in McAllen, Texas, before continuing her career with AT&T in San Antonio, where she later retired. Maggie will be remembered for her kindness, gracious spirit, thoughtfulness, and generosity toward others.

She is survived by her son, Mikel S. Mendoza, and daughter-in-law, Juliet T. Mendoza; and her grandchildren, Aiden Lafayette and Mikel A. “Mikey” Mendoza.

She is also survived by her siblings, Rumaldo “Ron” Lopez (Thelma) and Homero “Homer” Lopez (Raquel); her nephews, Steven A. Lopez and Ian T. Lopez (Lorena); and her niece, Genevieve Ridolfo (James, Jr.).

She further leaves behind her grandnephews, Ian A. Lopez (Rosie) and Damian A. Lopez; her grandnieces, Bianca G. Hughes (Michael), Yasmin I. Ridolfo, and Noelle S. Lopez; as well as her great-grandnephews, Ian I. Lopez, Arian A. Lopez, and Alfonso M. Palacios; and her great-grandniece, Alyssa M. Palacios.
