

He was born to Eugenio and Elpida Arrogante in the Philippines on May 16, 1939. He grew up in the Philippines where he met his wife. They moved to the United States in 1980 to be with their family.
With his engineering degree, he provided for his family. A handsome and good man, he raised his family to know God. He loved his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Manuel's hobbies included fishing and his pet birds.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria S. Arrogante of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Arlene S. Arrogante and husband, Sam Adams of San Antonio, Texas, Amy A. Tan and husband Wilson of San Gabriel, California, Aries Arrogante and husband Benjamin Rodriguez, of San Antonio, Texas, Arceli Abernathy and husband John of San Antonio, Texas; sons, Ariel Arrogante and wife Stephanie of San Antonio, Texas, Arnel Arrogante and wife Yvonne of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Jose Arrogante; sisters, Lilia Arrogante-Diaz, Annie Arrogante-George, Rosalina Arrogante-Corpuz; aunt, Herminia Egargo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family in the Philippines.
