Manuel Munoz, age 78, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Robert & Virginia Munoz. He was preceded in death by his parents. Manuel retired from the U.S. Army in April 30, 1989.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Stella Munoz; son, Robert Munoz & his wife, Melissa; sister, Lucia Avila & her husband, Joe; and nieces & nephews, Joe Jr., Robert, Dimitri, Hugo and Virginia.
Funeral services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Decemeber 23, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jose Puente celebrant. Interment with full military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
