Manuela Ramirez

Manuela Ramirez, born on November 17, 1922 in Kansas City, Kansas to Consuelo Ruiz and Joaquin Ramirez, was called to be with our Lord on January 14, 2017 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by parents and brothers, Francisco, Joaquinito, Jesse and Reynaldo; sisters, Maria Teresa and Stella. She worked many years with the Ursuline Sisters. A strong faith and a loving, close family were of the greatest importance to her. Survived by husband of 77 years, Raul E. Ramirez; daughters, Lupe Ramirez, Delia (Cesar) Trimble; sons, Roy (Margaret) Ramirez, Robert Ramirez, Rey (Dora) Ramirez, Raymond (Patricia) Ramirez, Rick (Sandra) Ramirez; 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The Family appreciates the care provided by St. Francis Nursing Home and Brookdale Nursing Facility. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017,Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Procession will depart Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Interment San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
