Margaret Rebecca Brooks, passed from this life into the arms of her savior on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. She was born on March 7th, 1947 in Gastonia, N.C. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Ruby Warr. She is survived by her husband of 25 loving years, Jim Brooks of San Antonio; daughters, Angela and Leigh of Darlington, S.C.; son, Jonathan and wife Amanda of San Antonio; stepson, Jay of Warrenton, VA; stepdaughter, Lea of Alexandria, LA.; and 11 grandchildren; sisters, Mary Anne, of Darlington, and Linda of Florence, S.C., Micky of Greer, S.C., Peggy of Greenwood, S.C. and Betty of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, Bobby of Orlando, FL., and Jimmy of Great Falls, S.C. Margaret professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was a dedicated member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
